good news bad news

the gemora in y. moad katan turns on a psychological point.
rabbi akiva feels that if the news bad it is best to put off telling someone till after the holiday.
the chachamin feel that even a little bit of good news before the bad news is best as
"it is pleasant to hear the word you are clean from the Cohen for minute " and then give the bad news even on a holiday intermediate day
can anyone suggest parallel Text?
a Jewish good news bad news Joke
hashem says to moshe i have good news and bad news
the good news is that I'm giving the Jews a land filled with milk and honey
what is the bad news
wait till you see the neighbors.
