The meaning of life ?

Postby steve » Wed May 07, 2014 9:37 am

Is the meaning of life to keep faith in G-d ?

I was thinking of the story of Job, no matter what happened to him he never turned his back on G-d.

If Job had faltered in his faith would he have been able to repent ?

The story seems to imply that if he had faltered he would have died. ( no chance of repentance)

I did a bit of research on this, and my understanding is that the lesson of the Book of Job is that we should have faith that G-d has a plan, even if we don't understand it.
